The Gwent Mental Health Consortium deliver a wide range of services across Gwent for people with, or at risk of developing mental ill health. We also provide services to the families and carers and act as a single point of contact for the health board, GP’s and local authorities.
Our services are tailored to each individual and includes flexible community and home-based support that is responsive 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

With the wide range of mental health professionals within our consortium, we ensure that you receive accurate information that will enable you to make an informed choice about your wellbeing.
We will work with you to discuss what is important and what you want to achieve. From this we will then consider the best option moving forward and reach an agreement on how we will get there.
We will work with you to ensure you receive the assistance that you need and help you to access the care and support you need, or support in the case of a carer.
Our counselling service will be provided by Mind organisations in the Gwent area, who will deliver high quality, outcome focused counselling and talking therapies. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and work with you to ensure you receive the advice and support you need.
